Prime’s clinical research team will present findings from four studies at the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) meeting held April 1-4. The studies offer new insights for managing specialty pharmacy and reducing controlled substance abuse.
Merriam-Webster defines insight as “the act or result of apprehending the inner nature of things or of seeing intuitively.” Prime’s unique connection with health plans is the foundation for great insight. Analyzing combined medical and pharmacy data results in a deeper understanding of the association between pharmacy care and overall health.
Prime uses this knowledge to deliver the best health outcomes for members. By regularly sharing research and results, Prime also helps to improve the practice of pharmacy across the entire health care system.
